MINI SD Card Memory

I just purchased the Sprint Moto Q9c and looking at the manual I received (as well as the one posted above), it says that the memory is expandable up to 32GB, eventhough there is no such sd card available at this time. The manual says largest "commercially available card is 8gb". So is the phone really compatible with larger sd memory? Is the moto Q9c compatible with the "High Capacity" miniSDHC cards? The reason I ask is that I want to get the largest memory I can for this device and there doesn't seam to be a clear answer.

I'm sure they won't be happy that I say this... but

Go try it at BestBuy (buy it, try it then return it) then get one from wherever you were going to get.

It'd be cheap and you won't have to pay restocking fees while trying it out
