If you don't mind NOT having voice directions, I really enjoy Microsoft's Live Search Live Search Mobile

To get the GPS to work when you're on a map, go to MENU, CENTER ON GPS and you'll be in business! It has been very accurate and maps are more up to date than my in the car navigation system!

Apparently some of the Q9x phones have GPS but the old Qs (like mine and yours do not). You'll need an external.

The internal GPS for the Q is for 911 location only.

I like google maps for my q9c. You can download the .cab directly from your phone at Google Maps GPS . For me google seems more responsive then windows live.

I like them both. Sometimes one will not find an address but the other one will. I really like the voice recognition in Live but I like the map animation better in Google.
