Hey all. When I press my messaging button (button just to the left of the space bar) I get this error:
Quote:
Shortcut Target
Alert
Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename.
The problem comes when I can't get off of this screen without restarting. The screen registers that a button is being pushed (blinks briefly), but then stays on that screen. I don't think it froze up then.
After I restart there is an icon in my icon row at the top that says "Messaging", but the icon is the little white page with the windows logo on it like the phone doesn't know how to open the file.
2 Questions:
1.) What can cause this?
2.) Is there a place I can change the target of these shortcut keys?
I am not 100% sure but if you look for some threads regarding button changing and the like you can find your answer to attempt to fix it, i am too lazy to search for em myself
There were 2 others I found, one was never answered and another ended in a reset b/c somone f'd their registry. You were in on that one mm08...
I did throw a post there, hopefully I'll get some help.
No, this happened out of the blue.
I had changed a few registry items like glyph size, IE connections, and such, but never touched keys I didn't know what they did...I know better...
