I can't get the phone to do anything - here's a copy of what I posted on another thread:
Hey there! I'm new and having the exact same problem. Got the phone last week and took it with me to Germany - no service but I thought I'd take some photos and videos. All went well... and then the C.H.U.D.s came out.
I'd been exploring my phone and trying to learn how to use it. I tried to drag and drop all the video I'd just shot from Germany through my Bluetooth connection. Had been a little iffy with the Bluetooth up till now, but still I was able to install a couple ringers I'd made and back up photos. Then today I sent one photo file to my Mac via Bluetooth and went back to the photos. I rotated one photo, then all the photo files showed as the generic jpg icon but no thumbnail. Then... the phone froze. I turned it off and it when it came back on it's been the Silver Moto icon on the black screen ever since. Pulled the battery a couple times, no luck. Same Moto screen.
The question: If I do this master reset... do I lose all my video? Or... have I lost it already?
