Last week I purchased my first 'smartphone' - the Moto Q9C for use with Sprint PCS's service. First day out and it froze on me. I reset the phone, lost my data, reloaded the data, and not too long later, it froze, shut down, and never came back on again. Fortunately, the great guys at my local Sprint store sent it back and got me a replacement from Motorola. It's been working great so far.
I had the same problem. I received my moto Q 9c last monday it locked up and froze on me tuesday night I took it to the sprint store and they replaced it with a new one on wednesday..... it is now friday and so far no problems and I am LOVING this phone.... except for the lack of alarms available to set. ONLY ONE alarm.... I need at least 3! but other than that It is great.

Access the File Manager program, then on the main directory, copy the pim.vol file to your miniSD card. If you ever do a master reset again (hold center and power button on boot), you must restore by renaming the current pim.vol, then moving the copy into the main directory structure.

No problem. If you performed a master reset, and you need to restore your contacts, you must renamed the pim.vol to something, then copy pim.vol from the storage card to the main directory.
