Question MiniSD vrs MicroSD

Is the MiniSD card the same as the MicroSD card for the Moto Q9c?

So if I buy a "SanDisk 1GB microSD Memory Card"

will it work?

What is the difference between mini SD cards and microSD cards?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Micro is smaller!! They work great too...plus will work in newer electronics that use micro only. Just need a micro to mini adapter but you can buy the micro that comes with one...
