I have an outlook account set up on my pc. I can't figure out how to set it up on my Q9c however. When I go to send/receive it is greyed out. I've been all through the settings and the manual and can't find it. All of the other emails that I set up work great, but I would rather use outlook to gather all the email all at once. Any help would be great.
Thanks
-Nick
UPDATE: I just hooked the phone to PC to sync and it now shows my email, but when I disconnect, send/ receive is not useable again. The send/receive option is only available when connected to my PC.

You can not send and receive because your phone is set to sync e-mail with Outlook instead of communicating with the mail server (the way Outlook on your PC does). Your phone will not sync over the internet with Outlook on your PC so you have to wait until you connect to your PC and sync.

That seems stupid to me when i can get gmail pushed right to my phone.
Ok so is it posible to get the words email (0) off my home screen? that way i don't have to look at it all the time. I can just have a mail icon whn I actually do get mail in gmail?
Go into ActiveSync and uncheck e-mail. Setup a new account on your phone for Gmail.
That didn't work. There was a warning that all email would be deleted and I said ok, but the words "email" are still on my homescreen. Anybody know how to make this go away? Is there a way to customize the links on the home screen. I don't want to look at the email button all the time when there is a gmail button right below it.
Thanks
-Nick

I don't believe Outlook E-mail will ever go away but it will be associated with the first e-mail account you setup (or if you sync with Outlook on your PC it will be associated with that).
One of two things will happen (maybe someone who uses their Q this way can jump in):
You uncheck E-mail in ActiveSync. The messages in Outlook E-mail (on your phone) disappear. You setup Gmail and the messages in Outlook E-mail will be the Gmail messages.
You uncheck E-mail in ActiveSync. The messages in Outlook E-mail (on your phone) disappear. You setup Gmail. Another account is added to Messaging and Outlook E-mail will always be empty.
