Is there any noticeable drain on the battery to having automatic send/receive set to every 30 minutes as opposed to every two hours? Other than a little more data useage (unlimited), will I notice a big decrease in battery usage or any other negative effects on my phone?
I set up gmail imap but didn't notice messages coming immediately. And it seemed like all the settings were the same except the server names had imap in them. I still had to set up how often to send/receive.
I don't use Gmail so no flames please. I use Exchange ActiveSync and Windows Live. Both are push mail. To enable push mail I set them to sync As Items Arrive. Was there an option like that for you?

I have a windows live account. The only option I see is to get a text message when new mail arrives. Is this how yours is set up? I would rather not get a text message. I only have 300 text a month. Is that what "push" is, text messages telling you to check your email?
yep. I am trying to install it on my phone now, but can't figure out how. The curser never lands on the "install" button on my phone, it just skips right over it as if it is unclickable.
