Q9C master reset

Well, I apparently screwed myself up here. My problem started the other day when out of the blue, my Q9C had issues. My icons at the top of the page were just windows 4square color flags, not the actual icons. My start menu was empty when selected and about the only thing I could do with it was view my contacts, make calles, and text. I tried many options like trying to fix this issue with the disk I received when I purchased the phone, but nothing seemed to address the issue. I turned the phone off and then back on again while holding down the center button on the pad and as I had read in one of these forums, not knowing what I was doing, obviously, I selected "yes" to the master reboot. Well, my phone is back to displaying the icons, but it does not appear anything like it was prior to rebsetting. Any one can help me with getting the phone back to it's original condition? I can't even axcess the internet now because it wants all this info like domain etc, that I don't know. My carrier is Cricket if that makes a dif.
Thanks:

Will

if by original condition you mean, back to the way it was before you did a master reset, well then that isn't going to happen without you installing everything all over again. a master reset is basically like a new phone straight out of the box when purchased.

Thanks for your response. Well that sucks considering when I bought the phone, everything was already on it. I have no idea how to install things on this phone. For instance, it had google maps on it. How do I get info on the things available for install on this phone? How do I learn how to install items to the phone? Heck, I can't even connect to the internet anymore on the phone.....

that's the bad thing about using a phone on a carrier who doesn't actually sell it from their store.

to install stuff you are going to need to sync it with a pc using activesync or windows device manager, unless you happened to have a memory card and the cab files of the programs are on there.

If your Q is flashed, you also wiped out your WAP and MMS settings.
You can Http://www.Google.com the settings for almost any carrier (and google maps & any programs you lost Google map is free).
I dont know who you carrier is, but if it is CricKet and you want to put these settings back into your phone then just follow the learn to flash .... link bellow.
You may be able to replace them using a cab file...http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=447 I've had good with Ryans Q cab

Sorry I missed that. I'll try to do better (just a rushed morning).
The links should help. If I can help any further, just leave a post in the CricKet Forum. I check the cricket posts regularly.

Sorry for being ADD...

I do have a memory card in the phone. I am not sure what to do after connecting the phone to my pc though. Active sinc starts up but after that I'm not sure how to put things into the phone. What is a "cab"?

My MMS does not work as well as the internet. I need a little assistance in getting the settings back into the phone. I input the password and I think the domain "my cell number @cricket.com etc.... and the cricket password but still no help.

For all the BASICS, check out the WIKI...http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/sit...html#post46512. Coolpoete has done a great job of putting together a very helpfull WIKI. There are detailed posts on ActiveSync and its issues (for xp,vista etc..). There is a very good post on cab files also.
For you CricKet WAP and MMS settings...http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/cri...-get-evdo.html Start with the sixth post and complete both "6. Cricket WAP setting:" and "7. MMS SETTINGS". If you have a Q 5.0 you can try Ryan Mogul's Q wap cab in the 7th post but I have had mix results with his cabs ( The tutorial has not failed me yet)
