It works now. Where I was sitting last night i had no service bars. But when I went to the bedroom where I have service it worked great. And it is a great little web browser.

Yeah thanks. So far I like better the I.E. It seems to run great. I like how I can view webpages as a WHOLE webpage and just zoom in. How do i purchase or obtain a full copy of that IBM program since mine is only a 90day evaluation? Thanks for all the help guys, and GREAT step by step instructions mtg!
I noticed there was a post in this thread on how to make the screen fit my whole phone. Well, it doesnt give me the option to make it full screen.....any tips? I could care less to see my battery level and signal reception while im playing on the net. Thanks!
google a java emulator program called ESMERTEC JBED. There is a unlicenced hack version floating around so it could not be posted to download here and i'm not going to post a link to it either but its simpler to install and use.

Every time i go to launch it goes to the installation screen and asks me "Can opera mini use airtime to send or receive via a socket connection until opera mini terminates?" I select yes, it goes back to the installing screen and once the bar gets to the end, it goes right back to the MIDlet List And I just tried again.... and I got the couldnt connect error.
Mine does the same thing and im lucky if it ever works. And that sucks because I like it wayyyy more then I.E.
it usally gives me some socket exeption error. Also it seems everytime I re-start the program all my bookmarks are always gone.
Don't get me to lying, I wish it used "airtime" cause somehow I think it would work better. When I have no reception Opera mini WON'T work but my I.E. always will. Like right now for instance cause I tried using it before I came here to no avail. I have no reception when im home and live in the middle of nashville. But I can talk on my phone and surf, I just don't have any reception bars. If you figure anything out please feel free to let me know. Peace.
