The next part is important. I learned it the hard way!
The Opera Mini install puts two folders, recordStores and temp, in \My Documents. Leave these files and folders alone. If you delete them you will effectively uninstall Opera Mini and you will need to reinstall it.

Opera Mini is a Java based web browser. The Q doesn't have Java so you need a Java emulator. It shouldn't mess up your phone.
I've been trying it out today. It's pretty cool. It has the support for Java that I've been missing but with no Flash for the Q (or any Windows Smartphone) it's still not as good as browsing the web on my PC.
when I try to download the software in step one it says that java scripting is disabled. I use internet explorer for a browser. Is there a way to enable java scripting?
Are you downloading the program on your PC or your phone? You need to download it on your PC. Does your PC have Java installed? If not get it at java.com: Hot Games, Cool Apps.
Also, I used the http download instead of the download manager.
