That means that Homescreem is a false file.

Tell you what, point me to what theme you really wanted and i can try to re-make it.

Sorry, that author apparently saved it as somewhere file.

I'm novice to intermediate homescreen maker... so you will have the luck finding someone.

actually its not a bum file. the setup.xml is inside of a .cab file. whatever archive you extracted that "setup.xml" from is the installation cab. place the cab on your phone and select it through your file explorer. it will install. or use WinCE Cab Installer its great becauser you just gotta right click on a cab thats on your hard drive and select install. you dont even have to worry about copying it to your phone and then deleting when you are done. i hope that helps. PM if questions.

Nope.

Motorola Q currently accepting only *homescreen.home.xml, home.xml, or *.home.xml.

what i am saying is that the .cab that his setup.xml came from is used to install a .home.xml. the setup file creates it. i have used many of these homescreens and they work.

.Cab files are installers that run from your phone. Any other installer runs from your PC (.exe, .msi, etc). The install starts on the PC then ActiveSync kicks off the remainder of the install on the phone.

Do not unzip cab files on your PC.
