does anyone know how to get output to 2 speakers? because i have an adapter than i want to use to connext to my aux in my car but u can only hear one side
pull the plug out of the q just a little bit while listening to it, you should reach a point where you get stereo sound. you should not have to hold it in this position either.

i have been doing that but the voice recognition always comes up and never stops. There was a thread that said you could cut off the black rings to make it work perfectly. Has anyone tried this?
The reason voice recognition comes up when you do that is because you are shorting the speaker output terminal on the Q with the send/end button terminal. This is highly undesirable and could permanently damage your Q. The reason there are three black bands (and thus four contacts) on the stereo headset for the Q is that there is one contact each for left speaker, right speaker, microphone, and send/end button. If you short any of these you risk permanent damage to the Q. That is why you should never plug in anything that has less than three bands (a normal set of headphones or an aux out cable, for example) into the Q.
