Wanna watch your home cable television or even Tivo anywhere in
the WORLD with your Moto Q?
Thats right watch your home television anywhere in the world on your laptop, personal computer, and better yet the Moto Q. All of this for the low monthly charge of ZERO dollars. It has a sleek and sexy design that will look good in any living room, and yes ladies and gentlemen it even supports High Definition television. This gadget is a definite buy it.
You can have your very own SlingBox Pro for about $250.00. If the pro is a little to rich for your blood Sling media offers 2 lower end models for a much lower cost. Either way you look at it a one time fee for television on the go...Priceless.
The good: Streams sources to any broadband-connected Mac, Windows PC or Windows Mobile device in the world; accepts HD video (with optional dongle); can accept as many as four A/V inputs (composite, S-Video, RF, and component); no host PC or monthly charges required; simple, straightforward setup; excellent, easy-to-use software; controls almost all cable and satellite boxes and DVRs; excellent video quality over LAN, decent video quality via the Internet.
The bad: Component-video adapter and cellphone/PDA viewing software costs an extra one time fee; no built-in wireless networking support; monopolizes the attached device during viewing.
The bottom line: While its ability to accept multiple sources and optional HD is overkill for most users, the more-expensive Slingbox Pro makes sense for hardcore Slingers with gobs of video gear.
