Ok the deal is, You have three choices.
1. you can make the switch from qwest to verizon but if your in a bundle package then your wireless bill will not be included on your bundle package. it'll be like a new bill. Also you would have to sign a new 2 yr. contract with verizon. your trade phone for free will be the recent moto q or black berry pearl.
2. If your a bundle package customer, come october.... This is recommended. That you make the switch because Verizon will be part of the bundle package deal. Your free phones for the q will be the recent moto q or black berry pearl. Or you can buy a new phone for 25% off. Your contract will be the same. YOU DO NOT SIGN A NEW CONTRACT!
3. you can wait till February. February is when Qwest completly drops Sprint. Now if your still under qwest and have not made the switch you can totally drop your contract without breaking it or paying to drop it. its free.
It seems all of us that love our Q's are going to get new ones without having to pay anything.... but if you have one higher than a Q (well basicly) your stuck with way below par. Rob, my partner, got a Mogul by HTC in december 07' (my Q was soon after that), we paid 300.00 for this phone that has all of the features you could cram into a phone like wi-fi and a touch screen, now they want to put him into a envy 2.. a 75.00 phone that does not even have a windows operating system. He is livid, I would be too if this was happening to me. the really sad part is that Verizon is offering the mogul just under the Verizon branding insted of it saying HTC. It is the same phone inside, it even uses the same battery style. hopefully they will change their minds about this, but we are going to ride this out and see if they do.
hey i got fantastic news ok well we all know about the qwest switching to verizon wireless service and that people with a q get the fabolus* upgrade to the q9c but as of november 14 the owners of a q9c will be required to have a unlimited data plan =)) i got mine about a week ago i love it
