Believe it or not sometimes there are questions or problems that can't be answered here. When that happens the next thing to do is to call your carrier for support. Another form of support commonly used is online chat. If you have an online chat with your carrier about an issue you think may be of importance to all of us please post the transcript here*. If your carrier doesn't have an online chat then still let us know what your issue was and how your carrier helped you fix it. *We're not responsible if you do something dumb like post your name, number or any other personal information so please don't.

heres the followup chat. Note at the end, she transfers me to her supervisor, but i hang up after waiting more than 5 dead minutes. Also, the long time delays were not b/c of slow connection. I was using a fast public library connection.
Will i use chat again with sprintpcs? Probably not

How did you decide you were entitled to a $50 credit for chatting with customer service for 30 minutes? Is that written down somewhere?

IMHO I don't care how long an online chat takes because it beats speaking to someone on the phone who has a dialect I don't understand.

It is not written somewhere, i just decided that. Most companies care about keeping their customers happy, and will throw you some sort of courtesy when they inconvenience you. I guess the 2 year lock in means that they dont care if im dissatisfied.
