Hey guys i got moto Q, and i had saved my phone book from my old phone, now i want to know how to add the phone book from my PC to Moto Q, can someone tell me step by step process to do that please, thank u
Still new to the Q but Here is what I went through-
What type of file is your old phone book? what program did you use to manage it?
it is easier if it a vcard file (.vcf).
1. Import your phonebook into outlook by file>import and export>VCF ,follow the steps. check and see if you got all of your contacts.
2. Connect to you computer with active sync and sync the contacts.
you can also do it with comma separated values or tab separated values if that is the type of file that you have.
1. Import into Outlook: file>Import and Export>Select "Import from another program or file" and follow along, you can provide some guidance to outlook as to where certain fields should go. you can than do a final organization in outlook prior to syncing with the Q.
I have to master reset my Q. What version of Outlook do I need? I have 2003 and cannot seem to find a option to move my phonebook from my Q to my pc. I really do not want to have to retype all of this info.
