Wrong Time Displayed - Motorola Q

Hi all,

Just got my Q and am having a problem with it not having the right time. Seems to be one hour ahead. I down loaded the Motorolla software to check for software update. It stated I had the current version. Any ideas?

Jim,

Have you gone into your settings>clock & alarm>date and time>, then changed to your time zone? If you have done all that, I would recommend just turning off your Q and restarting it. That fixed my problem after I got the software update.

Found it thanks. I knew it had to have been reset just couldn't find were to change it.

Hello,

I am new to Q and to the forums, my phone has not updated since Day light Savings time had change its an hour off. How do i fix? Also where do i found
the updated software for my phone.

Windows Mobile Updates for Daylight Saving Time

After I downloaded it, I did have to shut off my Q and restart it, other then that it has been working fine.

you can also manually configure the time

Actually I had to download the daylight saving update to mine, each time I manually changed the time, it would switch back to the wrong time after a few minutes.

Have all of you done the Sprint Moto Q patch the one in the sticky in this forum DST patch is included along with a lot of other changes this version of the Q needs.

Yeah D5, I was going to recommend that too. I know you originally started that thread, but like I was telling you for some reason, mine had the patch on it, but the daylight saving update wasn't. Kind of weird.
