Windows Moble 5.0 Moto says 6.0 is in beta test
I downloaded something from one of the threads that is a Moto Software Update It's version 1.08.08 (is that just the installer?) It's 9+ meg so I assume it the new Avtive Sync 4.5.
What else do I need to update?
How to I do a "backup" so I don't lose settings, contacts, software. I have a 2 gig card can I back up there and how do I do that.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. That's what we're all here for Even you! LOL. As for the software update. Are you refering to this? If so, It's a patch for your Windows Mobile to fix some of the "bugs"
For software updates, I always recommend going to the Motorola site to make sure you get the latest official update for your phone: Motorola - Support - Software Update
For backups, you will need to purchase a backup program such as the popular Sprite Backup.
The latest version of ActiveSync is 4.5 and can be downloaded from Microsoft here (select your language at the bottom).
