When I step into the elevator or go to the ground floor at work more often than not my Q switches to "No Service". Sometimes it switches to "Roaming". The problem is that when I go back to an area that does have coverage it does not automatically switch to "Sprint". When this happens I press the home key to pull up the quick list and choose Wireless Manager then turn the phone connection off and back on. Is this normal?
It's annoying because even though I'm in an area where I should have good coverage ActiveSync stops working and I've also missed some calls.
Well you could do as I have and disable roaming. Change it from "Automatic" to "Sprint Only". I'm never actually in a roaming area and this keeps the phone from going into roam mode in evelators and such.
