I use Opera Mobile as my browser on my Q. It displays more pages and displays them better than Pocket IE. However it is still in beta, and it has completely locked up my phone twice, requiring the battery to be removed to fix it. YMMV

i've also had this problem. whenever i try to respond back to a message i have received, it goes to that "sorry, an unexpected error has occured and has been forwarded to myspace technical staff" mumbo jumbo. its weird though, as i was able to at least post bulletins when i first bought my Q. go figure. i guess i'll try opera when the full version is released.

I am using 8.65 beta just because it is free. The final release of 8.60 is out if you want to try that, but it is not free (not sure on the cost). Opera mobile 9 is supposed to be out soon.

Not that I know of. I suspect this has something to do with MySpace Mobile being a subscription service on other carriers. Rather than allow you to access MySpace via the browser, MySpace would rather force an error, forcing you to pay for MySpace Mobile if you want to access MySpace from your phone. Thankfully on the Q you have the option of accessing MySpace from a browser other than the default browser, circumventing the issue.

MySpace works with Opera, but Opera still crashes my phone every now and then. I use IE most of the time because of that, but if I can't view a site in IE I can usually get to it in Opera.

does anyone know how much the full version of Opera is and if so, do u think its worth it? i believe the full version is 8.60 but i'm not sure. i've also heard of it "crashing" on some users. i haven't really been on-line as of much so i decided to check here first. thanks in advance
