SBCGLOBAL to ATT

SBCGLOBAL is changing their email server to ATT and at the same time they are changing the POP3 and SMTP access to use SSL, which also requires them to choose a customized PORT.

Does anyone one know how to configure POP3 and SMTP on the Q to read from a customized PORT?

TIA,

Jim

The default ports for POP and SMTP SSL connections are 995 and 465 respectively. Are they not using those ports? If not, I am not sure what you can do. I searched the registry for "995" in hopes to find a value that could be changed but found nothing.

Allrightly Then

I do believe those are the ports they required. I was not aware that there were defaults for SSL.

So that means that nother else is required besides changing SSL.

I guess I should have just tried that.

Thanks for the reply.
