hey guys. just got phone and plan yesterday. last night at home everything was fine connecting to the internet, getting pop3 email, etc. today im at the office and cant connect to anything. i can still recieve text messages and make phone calls so thats not the problem.
Hard to say. Was your previous phone a Vision phone or a Power Vision phone? Your Q might have been surfing the web on your old plan's Vision package, and now Sprint is provisioning your Power Vision package. It may take a while to get through the system.
This is just an off-the-wall guess though. I'd give it a day and see what happens.
Sometimes if I am somewhere where I don't have a good signal some of the programs don't realize when I return to an area with service. I have to hold down the home key, enter the Wireless menu, disable the phone then re-enable it. If that doesn't work I have to restart my phone. Have you tried either of these?
this same exact thing happend to me...
call up sprint (be patiet, you will be on hold for about an hour)...
i wish i could tell you the exact steps for resetting sprint vision, but i forgot...
