I can not sync my Q phone my PC. ActiveSync is not compatible with is so I go thru the control panel and I can not create a partnership! I have no conflicts in the device manager and the windows mobile center inside the control panel does say that the device is conected FYI, can anyone help?
the instructions also specify deleting earlier versions, but I did not see any when I looked in "Add & Remove Programs". I just got my Q yesterday, and synced all of my contacts, calendar, & tasks with no problems...
it also allowed me to transfer music via Windows Media sync, but I have yet to figure out how to use them as a ring tone.
This was done on Vista Ultimate 64 bit (which seems to be incompatible with damn near everything), and Outlook 2007.
I did go and download the Microsoft Mobile Center latest version and installed it on my brand new Vista Notebook - which already had an older version which would not recognize my Q.
Now all things Outlook and Q are syncronizing perfectly.
Hi all... in the same discussion, where can I look for my Calendar & Contacts after the sync up in VISTA?? I do not have Outlook and Outlook express has been discontinued ////
i got as far as downloading the device center. then when I went to continue it tells me I need outlook. If i understand u correctly I have to have outlook or its a no go. I've never used outlook. I use AOL. Shoot I'm having a hard time figuring this site out. i guess I'm just beat to death with this today.
