I had a moto q2 fall into my hands the other day, and I want to use it for myself. It is a new phone that was bought and lost in mail. When the package arrived the person had already moved away. All I want to know is if there is a way to bypass the lock set on startup, so I can at least use it as a camera, pda, etc. I can later figure out a way to get service. thanks,
Not sure what Q he is talking about, but there is no Q2. There is the original Q, the GSM Q which looks exactly like the original but for GSM carriers (which is referred to as the Q8), and the newer Q, which is also only for GSM carriers, called the Q9 or Q9h depending on who you ask.
FYI even if the person moved away, to open mail that is not addressed to you is a felony. The proper thing is to write "addressee unknown" on the package and send it back. That is all the help you will get from me as you are in possession of stolen property and you know it.
