I have been slightly disappointed with my Q. I have only had it a few weeks. When I purchased the Q, I was choosing between the Treo 700p and the Q. I was told by the associate (I know, should have researched myself) the Q and Treo 700p were Identical except the Treo had a touch screen. So I bought the Q. It is not the same as the 700p, at all. So Yesterday I called sprint again to complain about the features I wanted not being available to me on the Q and they are allowing me to exchange my Q for the Treo 755p and credited my account $150! So hopefully I will have the Treo 755 in a few days. This forum was very helpful for me facing multiple Q delimas. Thanks all, now I am in search of a Treo forum
It would be interesting to learn exactly what the details of this exchange are. The 755p is much more expensive than the Q at $579 MSRP.
I received my Treo 755 on monday and I love it! I have 30 days to send in my Q. They did it as an even exchange because I voiced my complaints and concerns about being mislead about the Q. Initially they were gonna charge me $100 on top of sending my Q in. I told him I did not have $100 dollars to pay and He offered to put it on my next bill. I told him I still wouldnt have the money because they were charging me insane overage fees for having no data plan and no text messaging. I had in fact signed up for text messaging and a vision plan when I bought the Q at $149. He reversed the overage charges gave me a credit for $149 and I have to send in the Q. I called Sprint on Friday the 8th and received the treo on Monday the 11th. And the sound is great on the Treo and I dont have all those other quirky problems...yet. We well see, but I think I got quite a sweet deal!
It does sound pretty sweet. Too sweet. Let us know how your next bill turns out! If you are dealing with a 3rd party vendor, you may be in for a shock.
