I have my Network set to Sprint because I prefer not to inadvertently pay roaming charges. When I leave a sprint service area my phone says "No Service" as expected. However upon re-entering a sprint service area my phone still says "No Service." I have to power cycle the phone for it to recognize the service area.
I never had this problem with any other sprint phones... any ideas?
I read about an easier workaround than rebooting the phone in another forum. If you press and hold the Home button and then select B, Wireless Manager you can turn off/on the network connection which is in effect the same as rebooting the phone but much quicker and easier.

Hi there,
I also have this issue with my sprint moto q. To solve this problem I click on the no service tab and turn the service off then on again. theres no need for rebooting the phone..

This works for me about half of the time. I still try it every time because it is faster than restarting the phone.
