block a phone number

is it possible to block a person from calling me? Id rather not switch my number

if you get the new version of photo contacts( In Downloads section). One of the filters options will allow you to reject a particualr number

You can also add the person you want to block to your Contacts, and then set their custom ringtone to a silent ringtone. They will still be able to call you but your phone will not ring. I have made one you can use if you need it.

does this not work for the moto q? it says that PPC pro does not support the device type.

Sign up for a free membership to Youmail and give them a voicemail greeting that says your number has been disconnected. I think Youmail also has a dumping feature but not 100% sure.

not sure if this will block the number from calling you..but you can block the number from texting you by

1.signing in to your account at Sprint.com,

2.select the "My Online Tools" sub tab along the top of the default page,

3.open the "Text Messaging" link, and this will open a page where you can compose a text message. On the left will be 2 links in a "Text Messaging Options" box,

4.select the 2nd link called "Settings and Preferences".

5. In the following box, you can type in the number you want blocked and have it added to a block list by typing the number in and clicking the "add to block list" link.

Hopefully this will be useful. I realize it is not quite what you asked for, but I have found it most helpful to know.
