I asked this in the software forum a few weeks ago and got no answers, not sure if it's because nobody knows or because I posted it in the software forum.

Is there a way to change the default file-as in the contact list? I have my Outlook client set up to do First Last, but my Q insists on adding new contacts as Last, First, which I hate. Outlook won't fix it when I change it's default, so that leads me to believe that there must be some way to make the Q change it's default setting that I'm just not finding. Right now it's pretty annoying because if I edit a contact on my Q it changes the file as back to Last, First. Yuk!

The reason this is important to me is that I have a lot of company names in my phone, and it insists on organizing them in a pretend first/last format which I don't like. I want it to display contact names exactly the way I enter them into Outlook or the phone and not change them under any circumstances. Is there a way to change the default in the contact list? Is there some type of upgraded CM software that gives more options?

its a small program you can DL that will allow you to change contacts to First, Last or Last, First.
I use it and it works great.

Everytime you add a new contact, the Q puts it in Last, First, so make sure you run the program when you add new contacts
