Ok, I have been trying to figure out how to use my Q as a modem. Here is what i have done.
1. I have called sprint and purchased the 39.99 package to use phone as modem.
2. I have given it the twenty four hours for my phone to update the new vision pack, and clicked on "update vision profile"
3. I have installed the "dial-up networking software"
When I plug phone in, using usb, active sync syncs it, and computer picks up Local Are Connection (LAC). It gives me an IP address and Subnet Mask but it will not pick up the Default Gateway. So then I go to my modem link and click on Activate, and my LAC is lost. Can anybody help.
