Can't be done. CDMA phones are "locked" from the carrier side based on ESN. If you have a phone with an ESN that was meant for one particular carrier, then no other carrier will activate it no matter what you do to the phone.
not totally true. yes, the phone cannot be switched to a different carrier but can be unlocked using a program such as resco registry editor and changing a few lines. if you plan on doing any mods this is a must for many applications.
