turning off voicemail

is there something i can do to turn off my voice mail? meaning in order for someone not to be able to leave me a message.

only thing i know is initially dont set your vm up then it will say you didnt set it up and hang up on them but other than that idk

ha, just make a greeting that says this voice mail is turned off, then have a long pause lol might work.

It's an interesting question. I've been searching the internet and the only answer I've found is call Sprint and have them turn it off.

They Said They Cant Do It. I Tolled Them That I Did It With My Old Blackberry. They Just Sent Me The Manual .pdf And The Logged Off...

I'm looking at a program that says it can block numbers. I'll play with it and post back in a bit.

Well it looked promising but all it does is force the call to voicemail (and the phone rings once before it does). It can also send an sms to the caller. I was trying it with my land line so I got the annoying sms failure messages in return.

thanx for the help. the last thing i can think off is if they reset my vm. do you think that would work?
