I got a reply message from someone about this but I do not see that message posted. That person reccommended a canada roaming plan for $5-7 a month and jsut taking it off after the trip. Sprint set me up with a canada roaming plan that is $2.99 per month and allows for $.20 calls per minute, $.20 txt messages, and $.00002 per kb (yes, that is 2/1000ths of a penny). even though I have unlimited txt though thats a bummer for $.20 per message.

Does anyone know how to go about shutting off data applications like fizz weather, etc? I swear I have several apps constantly getting data. It kills my battery pretty quick on the avg, but I am always by power source. Just want to limit the data pulled if anyone can help thanks.

I have fizz and all that good crap...just go into the respective applications Options or preference and set the Update option to MANUAL. That should prevent it from looking for updates on its own.
