I recently purchased the 9h and have tested WLS, Google, and TeleNav. Both WLS and Google work well although there are not as many features as with TeleNav. That said I have a hard time paying for a service others provide free.
Question... is there any way to get the WLS or Google display to sync with the direction of travel?
Also... what's the best (and cheapest) stand-alone mapping product? I usually loose the Internet intermittently while driving but not the GPS signal. A mapping tool loaded in the PDA would simplify things.
Route66 or CoPilot might work for you. I have Route66. It's not perfect, but it was a one-time expense. Its main drawback is that it search capabilities are extremely limited. Basically you need to already have an address. So what I do is use WLS to find what I am looking for and get the address, and then enter it into Route66. It is tedious but it does the trick. Most of the time I am navigating to contacts in my address book so I'm willing to put up with it. Would love for TomTom to release a version for the Q.
