I was wrong--it is called master clear and master reset--I have used master clear and it reset the phone to like it was from the factory--I haven't tried master reset yet. I think they might both be the same thing.
Master Clear means ittakes the phone in to default function level nd doesnt remove any data but in master reset it clear data and takes ur phone in to default function .

i did a master clear yesterday, it erased everything ans when it rebooted it was the same as turning on the phone for the very first time... i wish this crap was reversible!
How do I do a "master clear" on my phone. I bought it online, and it has someone elses data on it. It is a Qwest phone. I am subscribed to Qwest wireless, and presently have a Katana II by Sanyo. Can I change phones?
