Clear Reset and Master Reset

What is the difference between the clear reset and the master reset? I was told these are only on the Q from AT&T. I don't know the difference.
Thanks

Sorry for the double post.

I have never heard of a "clear reset" but I know that a "master reset" will COMPLETELY reset your phone to the complete default settings.

I was wrong--it is called master clear and master reset--I have used master clear and it reset the phone to like it was from the factory--I haven't tried master reset yet. I think they might both be the same thing.

How do I do a "master clear" on my phone. I bought it online, and it has someone elses data on it. It is a Qwest phone. I am subscribed to Qwest wireless, and presently have a Katana II by Sanyo. Can I change phones?
Regards, donval73
