I have downloaded the don`t forget app onto my moto Q,do I need to leave it running in my "running programs" for it still to work or can I "kill" it and it still function when I get a missed call? I have been told to "kill" any of the running programs to conserve battery life is the only reason I am asking.
I mean on my q..I have been told to kill all running programs to conserve batt. life but will the app still work if I miss a call?.Its the don`t forget download... http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/downloads/file14.html I just need to konw if apps will work like that on even if it doesn`t show them running on the phone
it does show it running..I didn`t know if it kills the battery faster or not.How many can I leave running(minus internet apps) and not kill the battery faster?
It varies really. When I first got my Q, I'd open up Internet Explorer, Play Solitaire, go through my Contacts, check my text messages, then open up Media Player, without really 'closing' any of them... and my standard battery would tap out in roughly 3 hours.
So on mine, that's 5 apps running to 3 hours. You'll have to just test things out to figure a decent combo of what to leave running/not running. If you leave one thing running in task manager, and if it's barely used, it shouldn't hinder battery life too much.
If you kill it via standard task manager you will see the little ! icon go away in the iconbar and that means you have just turned DontForget off! I dont think it uses much power...had it long time.
