I have XP Pro running on a stand alone machine (no network) at all, no Exchange server, etc... I "was" able to wireless sync when I first bought my Q but recently created a new OUTLOOK profile and have not been able to sync since...
The error I am getting includes the line "MAPI_E_UNCONFIGURED" which implies that i have set up wireless sync for EXCHANGE server.. but this is not the case..
Has anyone faced this before?
Is there a way to "back out" to square one and reinstall everything?
Click on start, active sync, menu, options and take the check mark out of email. or go to add server source and change server if you want to configure an email server. If you want to reset everything, click on start and go down to system tools and run a master reset.... You will reset back to the default like when you got the phone...
Wireless sync and Active sync cannot work at the same time.
There are very known issues about this.
You can use them both but not syncing the same items.
Example:
AS:
Contacts
Calendar
Tasks
WS
Emails.
If you still want to sync same items in both progrmas, be aware that you info could be duplicated and also erased from all available sources, phone WS servers and computer.
i was having the same issues however when i did that MOD3 update that seemed to fix it... no longer getting that issue, i can now sync using my laptop as well as the desktop.. so i guess just update and see if that does the job...
