i've incurred a problem w/ youtube. i did everything the way it'd been specified earlier and was watching videos on youtube and all of a sudden it stopped working. i click on an item i want to see and it does nothing.
i uninstalled the flash bundle and the tcpmp and reinstalled it tried the process all over again and it still didn't work is there a limit to what u can watch on youtube?
the same problem occurred with me... i downloaded it and it was working great; then when i went to try just now and when i click the videos to watch there is no response not even the videos i watched before work.
I've had the same problem too. It was working just fine yesterday and now it's not. I'm going to look over at EverythingQ.com to see if the same thing happening there.
EDIT:
Okay, I'm back from the other site and from what I'm figuring, the glitch might have something to do with some additional coding made on the youtube site. They just started some new ads this week and that might be interfering with the the streaming.
The good news is, the player and the flash does work on other sites. For instance you can go to video.google.com and play videos as long as it doesn't have a direct link to youtube. Here are three more sites that the player will work on:
Once you arrive, there will be links to the player and flash bundle along with instructions on how to configure everything. Here's how to do that:
After installing the programs and resetting, open TCPMP and press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > File Associations. There with be a list of boxes. Scroll all the way down, check the boxes marked "Flash Video" and "MMS protocol" and press OK.
Then press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Advanced. Scroll down to where it says Manual A/V offset +/- and it the box next to it enter the value -400. Press OK.
To set the buffering press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Buffering. Set the buffer size to 1184 kb, preload at underrun 3% and video at 64 kb. Do not select microdrive.
To help with the buffering, press Options- > Video - > Video Driver - > GDI.
If you want to open a video in fullscreen, press Options - > Settings - > Select Page - > Player. Check the box that says "Play at open in fullscreen" and press okay.
Hope this helps!
