I recently downloaded some backgrounds onto my pc now how do i get them on to my Q through active sync or is it even possible..i just want a new background lol... please help me out.
to be more specific when iam in explore mode in active sync it wont let me click and drag the files off my desktop..can neone explain how to get backgrounds into the folder off my pc? or do i have to transfer them from my storage card thnx.
I looked at the image information for a picture I took of my wife and son using my Q. Then I looked at the information for a typical Windows background, what I found is that you need to resize your picture. Then copy it into your picture file. Once you have done that you can view the picture and set it as a background. The image information I found using Paint Shop Pro is as following. Size 1280 x 1024 Image size 9.77 x 7.82 inches 131 pixels per inch and 24 / 16 Million colours. I tested it using the Stonehenge image that came with Windows 2000 and it works.
if you want to take a hidef pic with your camera and save it to your computer, then after that connect your phone to your PC and hit the explore button, then open up your pictures from you camera on another tab and just drag and drop them to you phone.
