Well, WMP just plain sucks, so I have TCPMP workign amazingly well on ym Q. Only problem is, when I try to kill the process in task manager, it blanks out the screen and the phone locks up and I have to restart. Anyone else have this problem or have a fix? or any clue as to why that happens. I'm baffled
never have heard nething about that at all actually...if i were you i would just try rolling a back up and resetting your phone.
p.s make sure you have the updated software released by motorola.
I just got the phone today and TCPMP was the first thing I installed on it.. :x well, I'll just have to live with it running in the backgrond I guess. It was made to be low memory usage anyway.

May I ask why you are killing it in task manager when it has an Exit feature? Seems to me it would be better to use this than killing it. May solve your lockup problem.

even when u exit madman it still runs in background....
When I go to the menu and select the "Exit" option, it also does this fading out white thing. it's odd, it erases the whoel screen and then I have to wait for the screen to shut off, and then I can resume. :/
Can you link me to the exact version you are using?
found an easy fix just hold down the mail button next to the 0 button this shuts off the screen and stops the white screen of death. then u just have to turn the screen back on and presto its all good kinda a pain in the ass but its free software so i'm willing to deal

Yea, I figured that out before, but I found a newer version that has been running perfectly for months now
