I have had my Q for several months now and have never had a problem using Activesync to sync my Q with MSOutlook on my home pc. Last night I went to sync and got an error message...I have attached it here. I am fairly savvy when it comes to driver issues and have tried everything that was advised by the help file as well as all the other things I know to do. Can anyone offer any other ideas? I have updated to v.4.5 to try to repair the issue at no avail. I have uninstalled the driver and rolled back the driver as well as tried to updat e the driver. I have used another small usb cable that I had in hopes it was the cable. I can attach my digital camera to the same usb port with no problem and have tried using the moto q small usb cable in all other usb ports to the same end. I don't know what could be causing the issue and why now when it has always worked in the past. Please help!!!
I get this error occasionally on mu HP iPAQ PDA running Windows Mobile 5. Normally a reboot of the PC and a soft reset of the device have done the trick.
Can you use a Bluetooth dongle and attempt to sync through Bluetooth?
None of the above worked. Motorola was no help...flashed my phone completely...then received same error message...ended up with a new Q. Problem solved now!
Im Running Xppro And Same Situation I Can Almost Get It 2 Connect Thru Bt But The Ports Are Messed Up Or Somein Also I Think Outlook Has Something 2 Do With It Good Luck And Halla When You Finger It Out
