How do I change the Home page when I launch internet explorer to something other than US Cellular. I was given a suggestion and tryed that but it did not work.
There is a registry hack that does that.You'll need a registry editor.There is a free one available here in the downloads section.PHM Registry.There is also a thread here on changing specific registry settings.Most certainly in the Moto Q hacks thread.Will have to find out what page.
Anyone here know the exact registry setting off the top of their head?
I just got a moto q9c works pretty good has typical windows glitches. I called altell to see how to change the iexplorer and i quote "there is no way that you can do it" i didnt buy that for a min. the phm registry edit works awsome. PHM.lu Download Center there is the dl site for the phm registry edit. there is a drop down menu i selcted the smartphone 2002,2003 (ARM/PXA)all you need to do is dl the progam install it. it will run from the sd card so save your device memory. start the registry editor
select hkey_local_machine then select software then microsoft then select internet exployer the select about urls then click soft key values then click home_o4o9 edit value data values them soft key done then select home_0C0A edit value data sofr key done go to home page then restart. walla you have your own home page its magic beings alltel says you cant do it and i expect the same from outher cell providers they want you to see there adds. i take no responcibily if something bad happens while you are messing around in the registry. as usualy when downloading and installing any program make shure you check for viruses it dl clean for me. good luck sticking it to the man lol
