Okay, bought my Moto Q yesterday and love it so far... but having struggle with email setup thru Verizon Wireless Sync. I find their books and setup info extremely counter-intuitive and incomplete.
Here's what is funny: I got the email to actually work, sent tests to friends and they get them and respond, etc. So the email works. Hurray, right? Yes.
My problem is minor but driving me nuts! How do you set your name so it appears as sender in the outbound emails (versus your phone number)??? Right now my emails go to people but say they are from 8181234567 (my cell number).
Whoever helps me gets a huge free batch of undying gratitude. Thanks!
Are you using Exchange or POP?
Review your account settings, you may have left out your name (or you could have typed it in and unintentionally erased it when moving down to the next box) and the default is the phone number.
