I have gotten this error message and have tried everything possible to fix it by reading information online. I wish i could take it to a Verizon store but i didn't purchase my Q it was given to me by a neighbor. Is it possible for Verizon to give me a brand new phone even if i didn't buy my phone. Once the people at Verizon determine your phone is broken because of this error will they check your warranty and stuff in order to give you a brand new phone? I am really stuck as to what to do. any advice????

yeah, since you didn't buy it from them they will charge you for a new phone. If you go to Motorola's site you can sign up for a q9c for for free after rebates. Check it out here
