OK. right now I have a Envy2 phone from verizon. I have a couple more weeks that I can exchange it for another phone if I do not like the Envy 2. Yes there is a fee to do this, but it is not a big deal. What I am asking is should I get a Q9c? I wanted to find out from the moto Q experts so I am asking you. I am not getting it for the internet. I will be deactivating that if I get it. I want it for texting and all the aps I can put on it. The one thing that kind of sucks is that you can't (as far as I know) send or receive picture/video messages without the internet.
If you're on Verizon and are going to a smartphone you should really re-consider the data plan. There are some 3rd party apps. like weather apps that require data useage so while it may seem like a good idea to block data at first you are really not using the phone to its potential and if not done right could cause yourself some unneeded headaches with unforseen data charges. Plus the whole no MMS thing without data is another reason to go with a data plan. The Q9C is nice and I think the keyboard is top notch but consider that the new Samsung and the new XV6850 also has a full keyboard and has Wi-fi so you could get online that way without a data plan.
